Adams Day

Azeemia Foundation aims to promote universal love, peace, harmony, and compassionate interrelations between all human beings, regardless of one’s colour, race, or faith. Unity is essential for a society to prosper and live in peace. In the presence of unity and peace, the various beautiful colours of our diversity are able to bloom.

This event was started by the Patron in Chief of the Azeemia Sufi Order, Late Khawaja Shamsuddin Azeemi, in Manchester, UK in 2003, and has since spread to other cities and countries. It is now also celebrated in London, Canada, USA and Russia. Late Khawaja Shamsuddin Azeemi’s message is that all of mankind are the children of one father and one mother, and therefore we should treat one another as brothers and sisters, and should follow the guidance from the Holy Scriptures for the attainment of peace on Earth as well as inner peace.

During these challenging times of conflict and turmoil, “Unity in Diversity” at Adam Day, serves as a powerful reminder that our strength lies in embracing our differences and standing together as one global community. By fostering dialogue and understanding among diverse cultures, we promote peace and resilience against the backdrop of war and famine, advocating for harmony and healing in a world desperately in need of compassion.

This special day is rooted in the teachings of unity, love, and enlightenment, inspired by our forefather Prophet Adam, who represents the beginning of human consciousness and the interconnectedness of all beings.

On Adam Day, we, regardless of our faith, color and creed, gather to reflect on our origins, embrace our spiritual heritage, and cultivate a deeper understanding of our purpose in life.

Participants from various communities are invited to explore profound themes such as compassion, growth, and harmony with oneself and others. This celebration serves as a reminder of the potential for transformation and the importance of nurturing our spiritual selves in a world that often seeks to divide. Join us as we commemorate Adam Day, fostering a spirit of togetherness and a commitment to living in alignment with our highest values.
